Each of the 400 guest rooms is has either a single bed or bunk beds. Although the rooms are simply decorated, they are bright, clean, and are equipped with air conditioning, color TV and free wi fi. There are computers available for use at no extra charge on the first floor. Bathroom and shower facilities are located on each floor and are clean and well-maintained. There is no restaurant or kitchen on premises, but just outside the hotel is a vast array of dining choices, from the corner deli to fine restaurants.
The best way to soak up New York’s unique ambience (the aroma of roasting chestnuts or the sight of the glittering baubles in Tiffany’s window) is by foot.
